CADILLAC

The AOC Cadillac was born in 1972, at the heart of the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux, where a small handful of plots exposed to generous sunlight of the southern side were consecrated to this delicious nectar. The vines that are most conducive to botrytisation benefit from gravelly or clay-limestone soil and can rely on excellent drainage thanks to the slope and the pebbles. In the tradition of Bordeaux's great wines, the quantity of AOC is strictly regulated with harvests.

A VINEYARD FULL OF HISTORY

In a beautiful chartreuse, the former viticultural home of the 17th century, the Cadillac vineyard is full of history. This designation, located on the right bank of the Garonne, is spread out over 210 hectares of clay-limestone and gravel soil and planted in the traditional varieties of Bordeaux. On the palate, the Cadillac unfolds a fine wine, both smooth and aromatic.

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION

This sweet wine comes from the hillsides of the right bank of the Garonne. Its varieties are the Sémillon, the Sauvignon, and the Muscadelle. It is vinified traditionally, aged for 12 to 18 months. It is harvested by hand. Once its grapes are overripe from noble rot, it is harvested by successive selection.
